I have unearthed one dishtowel and just need to find 4 or 5 more. My problem is finding something srtong enough to span an 80" window without being just a huge thing in the middle of the window. I might have to use a shower rod. There is no way to add a support in the middle.Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09240634433916196989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33253042.post-11151204825932033412009-06-24T21:48:08.294-05:002009-06-24T21:48:08.294-05:00I looked at the curtains that Alisa's link. But if you are going to use new (or what ever you have buried) the trim at the bottom would also be nice. Although I don't know what color you would use. You have so many going on.All the places you lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08603986770044834572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33253042.post-16256373714404816822009-06-23T09:51:06.346-05:002009-06-23T09:51:06.346-05:00You have been busy.A coat of fresh paint makes a h...You have been busy.A coat of fresh paint makes a huge difference. That would be darling! I will have to dig up some of their old drawings and transfer them. It would be great to let each kid embroider a curtain. :o)
I got the window trimmed today and and half the baseboard put on the walls. The other half will go when we unearth the door.Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09240634433916196989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33253042.post-31562303227352828822009-06-22T18:42:03.895-05:002009-06-22T18:42:03.895-05:00I've seen big white cotton woven dish towels u...I've seen big white cotton woven dish towels used as curtains. The curtains would be easy to make. I would say 2 or 3 dish towels scrunched up on a rod. And where you have all those wonderful flea markets and thrift stores out there I'm sure the possibilities are limitless. All the places you lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08603986770044834572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33253042.post-46924865717037039742009-06-22T13:58:53.688-05:002009-06-22T13:58:53.688-05:00doesn't paint make everything better! Any red and white fabric would work well at the bottom and you could embroider with both red and aqua to tie the two colors together more. Plus you could put your girls to work on the embroidery.

http://kirstencan.typepad.com/kirstencan/2008/03/it-only-took-fi.htmlAlisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04805835736331729284noreply@blogger.com
