I got this bunch of lovely stuff today from my Four Season's Quilt Swap Partner,
Angela.
The box was full of lovely stuff and then the most marvelous quilt.
It has this poem on it
Dust of Snow by Robert Frost
The way a crow
Shook down on me
The dust of snow
From a hemlock tree
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.
Wow..I am not really a quilt person, but that is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt...it is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI am very interesting in how the poem was put on there. As I look at the enlarged pictures of it they seem to me machine stitched on. Are the snowflakes hand stitched on?
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you a lucky girl!? Pretty little quilt! I love the new music on your blog - Renee and Jeremy are great! Em
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt.
